At once dark comedy, social satire, and queer love story, People Don’t Taste Like Chicken follows Ziggy and Roach, the last two people on earth (or so they think), as they try to keep each other alive by whatever means necessary. Blending physical theatre, absurdism, fierce tenderness, and lots and lots of Beatles songs, the show questions the true cost and meaning of survival, the power of hope in an increasingly hopeless world, and whether human flesh really tastes like a roast dinner.
